1. The platform
InformedInk helps clients discover tattoo artists and supports profiles, portfolios, booking requests, communication, scheduling, quotes, reviews, safety, and related workflows. Unless expressly stated otherwise, InformedInk is not the tattoo artist, studio, medical provider, or employer of any artist.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and use the service only where legally permitted. Tattoo services may require government identification, minimum age, parental consent, health screening, or additional studio forms. Artists are responsible for licenses, permits, insurance, sanitation, and professional obligations applicable to their work.
3. Bookings and payments
A request is not a confirmed appointment until the artist accepts it and any stated confirmation requirements are completed. Prices, deposits, cancellation policies, rescheduling, refunds, and remaining balances must be clearly presented in the booking flow. Payment functionality and associated provider terms will be added before payments are enabled.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant InformedInk the limited rights needed to host, process, display, and transmit that content to operate and improve the service. You must have permission to upload portfolio work, reference images, messages, and other content and must not infringe another person’s rights.
5. Safety and acceptable use
Do not use InformedInk for harassment, threats, discrimination, impersonation, fraud, illegal services, unsafe practices, unauthorized scraping, spam, or attempts to bypass security. We may review reports, restrict content, suspend access, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary.
6. Professional and medical decisions
Artist verification and platform information provide context but are not guarantees of suitability, outcome, licensing status, or safety. Clients and artists remain responsible for consultations, informed consent, health disclosures, aftercare, professional judgment, and compliance with applicable law. Platform content is not medical advice.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and initiate account deletion through available controls. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, safety risks, legal requirements, fraud, or material harm to the platform or its members. Required records may be retained as described in the Privacy Notice.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Final warranty disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute terms, governing law, and payment provisions will be completed with qualified legal counsel before broad commercial release.
